We have been over this so many times that I wish HC had a pin function. A share buyback is the only way a company like Race can return excess capital to its shareholders. Race can’t pay dividends.
The only strange thing was Race’s management at the time cared about their shareholders more than just spending the extra cash on management salaries and perks.
