In what way did it help their shareholders? What did shareholders get out of it? Especially the ones who participated in a CR not long before that at a far higher price? Serious question.
The market obviously thought differently of the scheme as well. Sold down straight through it while the salesman sold it as something that would support the SP!
I think all it was good for was to continuously derail the charting thread (and it still is) with salesman BS defending the in-defendable.
