Far out I agree with this.
Love that we keep finding all these wonderful bolt-ons that mean we are in for even more "outsized returns".
Though when speculatively people are coming up with valuations for bisantrene well beyond $200 a share, we're talking a market cap substantially beyond the amount any pharma company could manage to pay.
Be great for patients if Bisantrene is proved up for diabetes, some of the more esoteric cancers, ingrown toenails etc don't get me wrong. But I recall the timeframe for transaction being 2-3 years away 2-3 years ago. I am not naive to think that management won't choose to present best case timing then and now, and I'm pretty ok with mistakes and delays along the way but singular focus on a commercially realistic maximum buyout is hopefully now the goal.
