I don't remember BG's selling being malevolent, just frustrating.
Race achieved BG's investment aims for the company (exit at $100m MC) and he moved on. He had an exit plan for Race (basically a quick flip off the back off the named patient program and the FDA 505(b)(2) pathway). The discovery of FTO and cardioprotection made that plan very sub-optimal and the rest is history.
What is more important for all the current shareholders is not the past, but the future.
