This is a interesting comparison to CSL previous historical chart
As a young apprentice back in the day it was my first purchase IPO
I've had it in the back of my mind for a few years now that RAC may follow in its path with regard to the amount of shares issued
I believe CSL reissued the number of shares it had 3 times to existing holders as a example
They had 180 m which became 360m which became 720 m
which became 1.44 billon
WHY
Well it was to create more shares for existing shareholders to sell or consider selling .
A unique way of rewarding share holders
Back to RAC ,
DRT might be able to consider the same for us in the future
Why ?
well we have 80% of the company owned by 200 holders possibly less given most welded on longs have individual holdings over 3-4 accounts
Me ,Wife,SMSF,kids
So like CSL we get rewarded by waking up with double of our holdings and feel more comfortable selling some along the way
(everyone except Hunter of coarse )
If this apprentice held on to he's $4,000 IPO purchase he's holdings would be worth approx 4.5 m today
