The general quote goes something like "past performance is not an indicator of future performance", but studies by people including Daniel Kahneman have found that statistically "current performance" (which is actually recently past performance) is in fact the best indicator of near term future performance.
With that in mind, the last 6 months, which has largely been preparation for execution in the next 6 months, has seen the share price multiply by 2.35; the same performance over the next 6 months would see us comfortably over $3
With lots of great news scheduled for the next 6 months, I hope you'll agree that there are a range of factors that could make predictions of $3 by year's end a walk in the park, and which is anything but ridiculous.
