The same reason that I was able to buy RAC at 4.5c back in 2019 - the market has little to no understanding of biotech. Luckily the markets poor understanding of RAC or bisantrene will play no role in the success of company nor the returns of any long term investor.
Large pharma doesn't do hostile takeovers of small pre-revenue biotech companies. The BD companies want low risk acquisitions, not cheap acquisitions. In a hostile takeover they don't get access to all the internal DD they need to decide if an acquisition is low risk or not.
