Hi @Roger233 the accurate wave 3 count is unclear at the moment till it appears in hindsight imo, this is always a problem, but over the last few years I`ve been working on a trending/momentum system to identify the end of a wave 2 using moving averages and Fibs, and pretty confident with results from that...wave 2s almost always end on the 1st 50% retrace above a "golden cross" (65 and 200 ema crossover) from that point wave 3s can take on many different incarnations depending on the market sentiment at the time and be quite confusing, but the common trait will be that they always honour Fibonacci supports ( because they`re an impulse wave)..see some examples below including RAC at the moment....doesn't really matter if the count is technically correct or not imo just that its been through the bottom process (apparent wave 1 and 2) and is now holding Fib supports above the 65 ema.
