If you flick back through my posts from last year (apologies, there's a lot of guff ) you'll see I called for my second board spill due to the delays that RC220 encountered (as at AGM 2022 - it should have been in patients over 12 months ago).
Also, the catalysts for SP movement haven't flopped. We're over 50% higher than after the DCB/JC strategy was released. We've been anchored by all the options IMO, a blessing and a curse (if you got them). Honestly, I didn't expect RAC to exist as a company 12 months post the Aug-23 strategy release. I thought Hunterr was going to be lucky getting $3, let alone $30. To exist today with CPACS validation maybe 6-9 months away is, frankly, a miracle.
Most of us are here for the endgame, ideally nobody would sell. That's not realistic. The grinding out of a position is really immaterial to your endgame if your endgame is a transaction. It's only frustrating if you'd planned to exit along the way - I had planned this, but will play the hand we've all been dealt.
I don't think small holders are non-essential to the SP. On the contrary, they have been largely responsible for any appreciation (and depreciation) in SP. Back in 2020-21, ex management sold tens of millions of shares. The market cap rallied >1,000%, while shareholders increased by only ~400%. When BG was selling, it was only fuelled by small holders exiting and those looking to take advantage of an incredibly transparent exit strategy (deja vu?).
Every day you can buy/sell/hold. One thing you'll never find my do is complain about the SP, of any company.
Honestly, I'm feeling so fkn bullish for the next couple of years. In time I expect the rest of the market will join me. I'm not going to wish away what's probably gong to be the most exciting period of this investment journey (for me, bordering on 6 years now).
