I find it helpful. In case you want to learn (or more if anyone else reading is interested) the moving averages and where the price is relative to them is the difference between the 2 patterns you circled. The first starts with the price above upward moving averages (uptrend), with the price then starting to break below them and the moving averages then rolling over (end of uptrend). If the downtrend develops you then get more evidence the uptrend is over as the moving averages cross each other and reorder. The 2nd starts with the price below downward moving averages (downtrend) with the price then breaking through the moving averages to the upside and the moving averages rolling up (end of downtrend). Again if the uptrend develops you will then get further evidence as the moving averages cross each other and reorder. Hope that helps.
