The XBI was rebalance a while back to include more revenue generating companies and so it no longer tracks the earlier stage biotech companies like it used to. The BBC index has issues (not least its name), but it is a better indication of the state of the industry than the XBI.
I can say that I am glad we are listed in Australia. Not only have we been insulated from the internal chaos in the USA, but we have Asia open to us as a market.
