It is not really a dangly carrot, just a reminder that the RAC scientists are very skilled and have been very, very busy. I know we are not allowed to speak of frozen water anymore, but in any valuation of RAC you should remember that your knowledge of what we (RAC) know is very limited.
An interesting parallel in the resource sector is around pre-JORC resources. Sure you can't formally value a mineral resource until you have a JORC study, but if you are a serious resource sector investor you can make a pretty good guess of what the JORC resource will look like once the deposit is fully drilled out - I (DT) have made plenty of money over the years investing in resource companies ahead of the formal JORC resource release.
