The classification of oncology drugs into “chemo” and “targeted” is absolutely silly. A drug like etoposide is classified as “chemo” despite being highly targeted to only inhibiting Topopolymerase II, while some of the “targeted” tyrosine kinase drugs inhibit more than 300 different kinases. A better classification would be multi or single targeted drugs.
I have tried to distance RC220 from the old chemo classification, not least when it is being used in a targeted way.
