You are making a massive assumption that this isn’t happening and hasn’t happened in the past.
Australian biotech investors don’t have a great track record of identify those companies that have something real from those that don’t. The unfortunately reality is few investors care to learn about the science and even fewer understand. For most investors biotech investing is all about picking the next hot stock based on the “buzz”.
RAC has probably the best informed and thoughtful shareholders of any biotech company listed on the ASX, but there are only so many of these investors out there. Of course once everything is proven then the masses will jump on board, but until then RAC will likely track the broader biotech market.
