I can think of several possible reasons why someone would sell RAC today - irrespective of whats in the horizon;
1) Not everyone follows the dosing timetable (or whats expected of it) as closely as the folks here do. A person who has been in for a while may have finally decided to move on now, without realising something big is supposedly close.
2) Something significant is coming - yes it is, but to say its close is a different matter. A blackout of 12+ months, a study yet to release full results 12 months after completion, and an MOA paper thats been in the burner for over 6 months: exciting for those keeping that in their memory, but the absence of news is louder.
3) Meanwhile, there are other opportunities where timelines for sp catalysts are clearer. For example, one of them releases some important results tomorrow via a poster presentation. Someone might sell RAC and buy the other one as a gamble - and if the bet works out, they might return to RAC with a fuller bag.
