I've been musing the SP action from today and yesterday. I think that the reason for the somewhat subdued rise yesterday was, given the large amounts of historical data regarding the safety of both bisantrene and doxorubicin, its perhaps reasonable to expect that the safe dosing of the combo therapy was reasonably baked into the share price already.

For the same reason we all think this is such a great opportunity (i.e. lower clinical risk given historical data), we can probably reasonably expect that share price movements on news that is "expected" - will be lower that what you might otherwise think. It is truly only unexpected data that can move the needle +/- 25-50% in a single day. Take ATX for example, an unexpected second CR in their trial and bang, +200% in a day.

So we know that bisantrene is safe in humans, we now know that RC220 is safe peripherally in at least one patient, we know that combination dosing is safe in at least one patient (at a low dose of bisantrene, much lower than what we'd expect in clinical practice). None of these pieces of information are truly groundbreaking and were mostly expected albeit great validation (still only n=1)

I think we can expect modest SP gains in the lead up to readouts from all the cohorts, higher gains might come at the higher doses of bisantrene in the ph1 as we approach clinical doses. You just cant expect the SP to pop 50% on yesterday's news.

The next major inflection point I personally think will be clearing the later cohorts as we get validation of safety in clinical doses of bisantrene. And after that any glimmer of CPACS/MOPACs being confirmed. Bearing in mind that we know the anti-cancer effect has already been proven time and time again, its the CPACS/MOPACs that will truly move the needle.

And whenever all this other data or news that RAC has is released to the market, that is when I expect a major rerate pending on the substance of the information.
