If a product hasn't been commercialized yet or has proven sales and market share then "The figures have been done" is just speculation.
If your company is worth $500m why would any potential suiter come in and offer $20b or 40x current value for something that isn't in the market? any pharma will be wanting to pick it up as low as they can. If we can reach a larger market cap in the $B's then there's a higher chance of receiving an offer at a higher premium IMO
