On this point, I guess management have a fair value figure in their heads, which Dr T has stated he doesn't believe the market has woken up to yet.
If big pharma came in with a low ball bid, I imagine the management can reject, and then advise the market and the SP would rise to that price. Even if it's only $3, the market will basically be told big pharma is willing to play ball above that figure.
