Would have loved to be the fly on the wall for the interview. This furthers my thoughts that Mary must believe BIG in RAC. I feel like this independent position will be a big feather in her cap for when she looks to work under her 'Mary Harney Advisory' company (if she isn't already in this capacity here somehow). Imagine being able to say you were the only independent executive director to an ASX company who were bought out for $__b.
RAC are undoubtedly frugal with their cash. She got no gifts on signing. She is a great asset. This was a hire of mutual benefit, and is further proof of her conviction in RAC imo. Big outlay for an equal remuneration drip fed throughout the year.
