Thanks to this HC forum; I only recently discovered BOTs. So I read literature on it and what annoys me is that it seems to be within the rules.
What I fail to understand is how does this help with the “accumulation” of shares at a lower SP? By buying 30 units at a time over many trades. How is this even cost effective?
When you purchase shares; is there not a minimum $ value to be able to place an order? I know through Etrade that minimum is $500 inclusive of brokerage. So how does one buy 30 units at 88c allowable? Or are these trades done by brokers for themselves?
Sorry for my ignorance. Just really annoyed how they dictate the prices. It would have been a nice 4-5c gain otherwise
