I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy but I wish people...

I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy but I wish people would shut up about the takeover/buy out price. The more it's talked about and hyped up the more we will all be disappointed if it never eventuates. If this talk keeps up at this rate for another 12/18 months people are going to start expecting a $1,000 per share figure and we're all going to be in the Forbes rich list.
One of the main reasons for people going into depression is because of unrealistic expectations that don't get met. Now I'm not saying that it won't happen but even if it does and it's a fantastic deal that equates say... $80 per share, some people will still be disappointed because their expectations have been pumped up so much over time that they'll still feel as though they've been short changed.
It's good to be positive and have dreams but isn't it better to keep your mouth shut and your expectations low, so that there's a big chance we will be pleasantly surprised?
