just wanted to add (and I have mentioned this a few times over my 6 months with RAC), volatility has mainly been on the upside.
I stay invested for those upside surprises which I could never time but has been very profitable.
Scaling-in my investment in RAC (because I don't have guts to take one big plunge) has been a wonderful way to ride this. I speak to many follower investor friends and they find it difficult to enter when there has been a run on the stock already.
My response is put in a quarter to a third of your intended position and sit back and wait. if you like what you see, then scale in more.
Better to average up, than to miss a monster (multi month > multi year) stock performance while you are on the sidelines thinking I should have dipped a toe last month.
