Yeah I agree.... Hopefully we get some good data soon and that will be the catalyst for SP rise through either a BP bid, or a partnership emerging (I think this will be the most likely scenario - to be honest I always thought it would happen now (Sept '21)), instead of just retail having a punt.
The asx market caps are pretty funny though when you compare them to the US numbers. Mainly because there are so many in the billions in the US... and a few in the trillions.
In comparison, we have companies in Australia that have annual revenue over $10m, more than $10m in the bank, and then a MC less than $10m.. I believe this would rarely happen there... In a greater scale, last year we had SWM with a market cap of $125m, while negotiating billion dollar deals for the AFL, Olympics, etc. Pretty crazy really... However it offers plenty of opportunities.
