In the poster's favour Dory did finally admit to this being a Bear Trap and indicated a destination around $3.60 as per the post replied to here when we last heard from him on the 1st of September. IMHO this does imply a predictive value in the charts and it also suggest that manners and humility should be a part of any Hot Copper poster's repertoire; as you probably never want to turn out being as wrong as Dory in such an arrogant and impolite manner.
Happily at the time of posting this investor is up a decent 1960's Aston Martin since Dory's rampant sell messages reached their crescendo on the 17th of August.
