I'd bet JC would loan his shares out if there was a dollar in it. Trouble is ... the biggest manipulator already has a sizeable long position and can play both sides of the trend when ever they like. (I know ... even today ... I placed an order and bang ... the bot changes everything.)
The illiquid nature of RAC is a problem (and the high and dry retail shareholder base!) ... but the real issue is not which reports to believe (or not) ... it's whether to trust the company who have lost $400m in Capital value (my guess), three years in timeframe, and the blind belief of most who participated in the $3 SPP.
No matter how appealing the apple looks, if you've been sick from them before you'll head for the oranges.
There has to be significant FA news before June 4 - the rest is just talk, and new shareholders won't cross the divide on talk I expect.
