That's been my experience too. Buy/sell at market is the only sure fire way to get an order filled.
This is the first time I've tried to buy at/above the sells only to see the sell orders pulled with none of my order filled. This is also the first time I've seen the sell side lower than the buy side without a transaction crossing... dodgy as. Is it the same entity unable to transact with itself?
