I've never had it happen but I don't picture the shares will be tradeable after takeover, you'd get royalty payments for x amount of years. Not sure how else to explain that or what the confusion is?
OR
It could be a takeover of $x.xx plus shares in the co taking us over which would be tradeable and they get dividends ongoing as normal
Lots of options but I very much doubt this take over will just be x.xx per share and that's it. That will be shortchanging ourselves
