This is more of a hobby for me at this stage with some small play money, and while I'd love the time to learn all the ins and outs, I've decided to just learn through doing, as well as through the discussion I read on here. If I'd waited until I fully understood everything about buying and holding shares I'd still be sitting on the sidelines - as it was I took a chance and so far tripled my money. I also drive a car but have no more than a basic understanding of how the engine works.
