It is a very good question and one I hope every investor has asked themselves.

Personally, RAC is my most confident speculative bet and I have added to it the more confidence it has generated over time.
I have some sell signals that I have identified for myself - but none of them are related to the SP.

The rationality is this is all or nothing for me as the risk/reward for any of the 3 pillars is outstanding. I have confidence in management, the 3 pillar strategy and historical results that give a good indicators of success.

Even if FTO somehow doesn't work out, I am still confident at least AML (less so on breast - haven't done enough research into this tho) will achieve buyout at multiples of the current SP.

Could all go to zero, and yet a potential buyout offer (even a lowball/failed offer) could also come at any time which would shoot the SP through the roof..

I don't know of any stock on ASX with the (de)risk/reward that RAC offers and because of that I'll hold until the end.
