    Good point about the risk Rhino. I think that is the big difference between Big Pharma and smaller biotech firms. The big pharma have the scale so they can still make a killing without taking much risk. The risk is taken by the small firms that they acquire to get access to their drugs/pipeline. Risky plays are the way to make the most money when you don't have the scale that Big Pharma do.

    Regarding "how" RAC might talk to Big Pharma - encourage everyone to check out this below video. It's only got 612 views so I think it's gone a bit under the radar compared to some of the other RAC-related videos on youtube. From 9:58, John Cullity discusses a bit around how they would go about getting in touch with Big Pharma to set up a deal. Note that this video is from before the three pillar strategy era, so not sure if that affects anything. Potentially there was more competition when RAC was only targeting AML which may have meant more proactivity in terms of keeping BP in the loop. With no competition in the FTO space, the approach may have changed.
