How many biotech hopefuls back when you started investing in NST have done as well?

there have been a few takeovers: Cellestis, for a pathetic price, The liver cancer spheres company, for a modest price, the immunology company using the cold vector agent, again, for a modest takeover price. There is CUV. It makes a modest profit.

what else? Where are the commercial successes to follow on from those heroes, COH and CSL?

the base rate commercial success of Australian biotechs is scarily awful!

I am, however, encouraged that you decided that RAC has legs, after rejecting every other listed biotech!

but that doesn’t get away from the idea that Australian biotechs, as a group, represent true cowboy land, suitable only for dreamers and gamblers, and probably should be traded following the charts, rather than the company's sexy stories and promises of big things just around the corner.

Biotechs are the femme fatales of the stock market: no company story has a better feel-good factor than a compelling story that promises to save lives and prevent untold misery, while at the same time winning itself a multi-billion dollar market!
