Odd question
As I’ve said I’ve been in the Stockmarket 30 plus years and that means I own a considerable number of shares in stocks - some unlisted , some listed , some overseas.
There is no single reason for me to invest in a particular stock - some tho are - has to be a real business, have a management with a good track record , have decent cash on books at time of buying etc etc
My “punting” has decreased and as I age I wish to preserve my capital as much as possible and I’m more interested in getting regular dividend income.
My biggest wins have been in the spec market as have been my biggest losses .
Phase of investing life when closer I get to retirement and it would be harder to replace capital thus less “punting”
