Just saw Dr T's recent interview on ******. I reckon he did an excellent job of getting across important selling points without going to technical.

What really struck me is the fact that recruitment of participants is now by far the biggest barrier to getting the data we are all waiting for. Good news is this is something we can all help with.

Maybe we need to set up a focused discussion on recruitment ideas. Maybe we can also help spread the word in our own way, show people Dr T's recent ****** interview.If anyone here has experience recruiting participants for research maybe you could share your advice?

I think the recruitment strategy should focus on doctors and patients. I've heard Facebook is quite useful for targeted adds to recruit patients - anyone with experience here? A quick search also revealed several companies that specialise in recruitment - like Trialfacts - anyone have experience with them? Maybe it's best to outsource recruitment to experts?

I don't know what RAC's recruitment strategy is - maybe I have missed it - but I would imagine the strategy will evolve as they try different avenues to see what works.

The point I'm trying to make is that I think we can all contribute to a more rapid evolution of that strategy - to something approaching optimal - through creative thinking, spreading the word, sharing experience (for anyone with experience recruiting), and even asking around our networks for advice on how to effectively recruit participants to a clinical trial such as this!

Then of course we would have to make that discussion available to Dr T so he can cherry pick ideas to try!
