I respectfully disagree. the old thing about "we know what we know" would never be good enough for me if my life was on the line. I'm no expert, but I read through the Reddit discussion in it's entirety and the experts there don't yet understand Bisantrene IMHO and the work that has been done to date proving that it offers as good as, if not better, efficacy than current standard of care but without the heart risk.
They also seem to know very little about the role that a safe FTO inhibitor could play and this would tell me that I would need to look for a different oncologist if they were treating me.
Also, valuations of this drug are going to be driven by what a big Pharma company thinks they can get for it and how widely it can be used. IMHO it is the current crop of experts that sometimes hold new ideas back because "they know what they know".
