Whilst I agree there is plenty to promote the only by-lines we should promote is cardio protection.
    No 8 works for me.

I would leverage off that Newcastle Uni article
I would also push the CP agenda at every opportunity.
You could even leave off the additional efficacy to the regular punter.
i.e. did you know cancer survivors have a shortened life span or are 8 times more likely to have cardio issues?
e.g. fear sells and motivates people

    In a sensitive way,
The question to oncologists is "are you going to continue treating people and cause heart damage? What if we could show you a way to have better efficacy and avoid cardio damage?"
The question to the patient and their family (a tougher sell) is "Are you going to allow your oncologist to shorten your life expectancy?"

I know this is pretty in your face, however, fear is what motivates people and I suggest most patients with cancer initially expect to survive. Therefore, expect to live a normal life.

The timing of such a campaign needs to be well thought out, and I suspect Dr T will tell me that you cannot use campaigns that might intimidate oncologists. However, sometimes you need to wake people up from their conservative ways otherwise nothing will progress.

    Cheers
