RAC Research Primer - June 2020

Here's a research primer if you are new to RAC.

Fabulous results today. Significantly desrisks their 5-path strategy of commercialising a forgotten cancer drug that was first approved in France in early 90's and then forgotten. It was originally developed by Lederle, however they were later bought out for their Vitamin portfolio and the cancer drug was forgotten.

The simple approach is to watch the AGM video for background, particularly the part from 10 minutes.

The compelling thing is that the drug is safe for the heart and this means they will be able to address market for Doxorubicin which is a mainstream chemo drug that has unfortunate cardic toxicity.

IMO based on my analysis a 15-bagger for AML, noting RAC's approach is broad-based.



IMO, add another 50 bags for Breast Cancer and Ovarian cancer based on previous buyouts for mainstream cancers.



Bisantrene has over 40 Phase II and Phase III trials under its belt. That makes clinical risk very low. Alternative way of looking at it is it makes probability of clinical success very high.



Significantly there has been long-term survival for two women that were treated with Bisantrene in the 80s and 90s as children. Both were very, very sick at the time and have since had their own children and are still alive today.
