cheers logco... and spot on mate. there is a real need for meaningful employment in these regions, whether it be merely income support and distraction from the grog or not, they can serve a real purpose, depending on the success of such.
ranger jobs are, imo, useful as it does get the people out of the town and remembering/using the cultural heritage knowledge.
State Govs have been able to find businesses that take advantage of the cheap labour costs of setting up shop in prisons, surely they can also encourage business to setup in the townships too.
