Ive been thinking of your post this week , and the prospect of sitting on the front and gently tapping out the kms for the Narrows / Muchea return leg.
On a fine day, that would seem like a thoroughly good idea.
However, Scherri Lee Biggs has been fairly confident that this Sunday will be not only wet but also very very cold.
Too old and way too soft for riding in those conditions
