Simple process. For CMC below (very similar for Comsec which I did for my parents);
- Find your SRN (eg I00000012345)
- Check your name and address are identical on both Automic and CMC otherwise they say it won't work
- In your broker account, find 'transfer securities' (In CMC it's under account menu)
- Enter SRN, stock code (RAC) and number of shares (ie the number of options you converted), then confirm 'transfer securities'
- The shares were added almost instantaneously to my RAC units held in my CMC account, Comsec might've taken a day or two.
