I wouldn't want to exercise them either if my uncle was trying to and contributing to suppressing the SP and increasing my risk, actively working against my investment when I can't accumulate more or don't want to becauee my risk was maximized (why else wouldn'tshe want to). No matter what you told me they were worth.
I'm sure you will justify it that because you are not solely responsible and others are doing it, it makes it ok.
