To transfer from Automic SRN to CommSec sponsored CHESS...

To transfer from Automic SRN to CommSec sponsored CHESS HIN.

Firstly check that your name on the SRN holding is totally identical to your name on the CHESS HIN account.
If even one letter is different, the transfer will be rejected.
e.g. I had another transfer (not RAC) rejected because one holding had title = "MR" and the other had title = "blank"
If they aren't identical, fix one of them before proceeding.

Log in to desktop CommSec. Can't do it on the app.
Click on Settings Menu
Click on Transfer shares
What would you like to do. Select "Transfer holdings request"
From: Select "Share registry"
To: Select your account.



Request an SMS of an authorisation code to your mobile.
Enter the authorisation code.

Enter StockCode = RAC
Enter SRN = Your SRN as per your Automic holding statement. The first character is letter capital I for Indigo.
Units = no of shares to be transferred. Up to or equal to the SRN holding amount. But I can't think of any reason to not transfer all of them to your CHESS HIN.
Click on "Add to List" button
Check you have entered everything correctly.
Click on "Continue" button




Do whatever it says on the next screen.
Wait 2 business days.
CommSec will send you an email when it has completed.
