With regards to my post, you need to live in WA to know how reliant we all are on NWShelf gas, all of us, mining, industry, power generation and residential. If the gas is diverted for a higher price we are stuffed here. You in the East are only just beginning to experience the higher gas prices that we have put up with for years.
WA,s long term gas supply contracts are will start to expire in the couple of years and with gas supply is already a problem we will be in the deep proverbial if the pipeline goes ahead.
