About the role
This vacancy is only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants. This initiative helps to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people employed in the APS, to better reflect the diversity of the Australian community. To be eligible for this role candidates must provide confirmation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
Your duties
- Identify emerging threats and issues.
- Support staff to develop best practice intelligence tradecraft skill sets.
- Collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, using analysed intelligence to influence change.
Skills and experience
- Understands Intelligence best practice, with an in depth knowledge of how to develop intelligence assessments.
- Produce high quality intelligence products that directly enable intelligence, criminal and civil outcomes.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve the client and staff experience
- Mentor and guide team members to build staff capabilities.
Highly desirable
- Has tertiary qualifications in intelligence or has industry or government experience in corporate advisory or commercial intelligence related roles.
- Experience as a Power BI developer or user.
