when times were a little bit more optistic, Indian interests were looking to buy BND for a price north of $3 and very almost did.
BND is now less than 10% of the potential sale price of a couple of years ago.
Coal will fall in and out of favour as most energy sources and commodities seem to do, but I suggest that the emerging markets century / Asian century, and the rise of the middle class in BRICVIM will mean that coal will be in demand for a while to come.
When BND's potential is revisited by interests outside of Australia, things might get a little interesting for Bandanna.
