Nuclear fallout is just another civilisational myth of phony and over exaggerated science (like pandemics, anthropogenic climate change and others) that traps us in a worse state than we should be in.

I dont dispute that. I believe modern Nuclear power is very well regulated but accidents do happen.

As a consequence there are still large swathes of the municipality which are not inhabitable as a result.
