A commentator on Skynews just came up with the solution to Labor woes. It's radical but hey, anything goes these days.
The House of Reps seat of Barton will soon be vacated by McLelland. The Labor could parachute Bob Carr into that seat before the September election. In the mean time he could take over from Gillard as PM.
But AWU comrade Paul Howes and the faceless men may not like this. Is Bob on side with the factions?
And Gillard definitely would not like it. So it's probably just a crazy idea.
