There is something morally corrupt about appointing a non-elected person not only to the Ministry, but to a position such as Foreign Minister, where he has more power than the treasurer. He has splashed money around willy-nilly all over the place, meanwhile we constantly read stories daily about arguments over local funding shortfalls. Today's is the Victorian government's turn.
I won't even mention doling out hundreds of millions to tiny countries many Australians have never heard of, while the flood victims of Bundaberg struggle terribly.
Or giving boat people the red carpet treatment, while our home grown needy, - many of whom have given a lifetime of service to the Australian community, - battle on against terrible odds.
Remember, the author of this state of affairs has NEVER BEEN ELECTED by anyone. And he is the appointee of a person who remains in her position by the shadiest of means. Whitalm was a paragon of virtue compared to what we have now.
