The fact of the matter is also this. He has set a precedence by continuing to use the BRR medium regularly which alot of CEO's seem to avoid.
Obviously MS is comfortable with using BRR and realises that the average shareholder gets great satisfaction from hearing his voice with all the excitment and candour that a text ann can not convey.
If he was to mislead the audience with dates etc, he would be aware that he would loose credibility almost instantly. He also has the obligation of keeping the SP stable to gain entrance onto the Dubai exchange, down the track.
By communicating directly to the market, he gives them confidence, and can help smooth the ride, as a good "captain" should.
