This application had been the subject of a phone interview with the Examiner in April 2021, in which the Examiner seemed to suggest that the application would be allowable if an amended application noted that Abscopal Responses were by their very nature unpredictable.
When this change was made, the Examiner surprisingly then objected to the British spelling of "tumour"! But the Examiner also noted that Claim 41 - the key claim of the entire application - was not rejected. Claim 41 sets out in detail the method of inducing an abscopal response.
Noxopharm resubmitted the application, this time revolving around Claim 41, and Notice of Allowance has followed.
