Zecs - a patent can claim anything - the patent office is not there to verify claims - only to check against prior art - paperwork, filing, fees..
If there are very very few who are claiming the abscopal effect then that might just indicate how very illusive this phenomena is - the mind races as to how you could quantify and then replicate this - it might show up it might not but medical trials require it to be replicated for obvious reasons - otherwise imagine the public being sold a product that may or may not do what it claims. Not saying Idronoxil/Phenoxodiol/NV-06 is not the drug to do it - I hope it is. ONLY full human trials can show this IMHO.
